Dimora Bed and Breakfast is situated in Mawgan Porth, on the rugged and beautiful North Cornwall Coast between Padstow and Newquay. We are ideally situated for walkers exploring the South West Coastal Path or the Camel Trail. There are excellent sandy beaches at Watergate Bay and further along the coast at Newquay.
Nearby Padstow offers a delightful range of boutique shops and restaurants set around the ancient fishing port and picturesque harbour. Wadebridge also has a good range of shops and restaurants and a cinema.
Further afield, the county town of Truro is certainly worth visiting and you can also reach the beautiful coastal towns of St Ives and Falmouth within an hours drive.
Cornwall is renowned for it's stately homes and gardens, and visitors can enjoy the world renowned Eden Project, the enchanting Lost Gardens of Heligan and the magnificent Elizabethan Lanhydrock House.
Places to Eat
There are a number of local pubs and restaurants offering good value. Falcon Inn at St Mawgan, the Merrymoor Inn Catch is an excellent predominantly fish restaurant and at various nights of the week there is a noodle bar, fresh pizzas bar and a fish and chip shop.
Slightly further afield are a wide variety of Rick Stein fooderies in Padstow.
Wadebridge has many small independent cafes and restaurants including a Route 39 franchise.
